Dr. Lian has a wonderful bedside manner and comes with a wealth of knowledge. Dr. Lian allows me to discuss my medical concerns and we plan best course of action. He is always attentive and at the end of my visit he always allows for additional questions.

I did not have a good experience with Dr. Thomas. I am a chronic pain patient due to a roll over motor vehicle accident in 2015. I was a passenger and was not belted. I have had 2 surgeries and have had Surgeons tell me that after cutting me open, I am worse off than my scans (xrays and MRIs) show. I have been taking opioid for my chronic pain for 9 years. It helps me function and complete simple daily living tasks with a little less pain. I know the pain will never be completely gone. I recently moved to El Paso due to being the spouse of a military service member. My new PCM referred me to pain management because she did not want to prescribe my opioid medication. I went to see Dr. Thomas and he did not take the time to look into my history or even ask me questions about my opioid prescription. He didn't ask me how long I have been taking them, if they help me live a more productive and full life with a littless pain and he didn't ask me if I think they actually help me. He just told me he would not prescribe me the opioid medication because my recent XRAYs and MRIs do not look bad enough to have to prescribe that kind of medication. Now I have to "cold turkey" stop my opioid medication after 9 years. I am not happy. I didn't feel like Dr. Thomas cares about me as a patient.

Doctor Lian listens to all my concerns and pains. He understands my pains and prescribes just want I need to relive them. He is very patient with his patients and takes the time to know his patients. I would recommend him to everyone.
